The Shelter
The rescue shelter at the Crescent Cat Rescue is located in a private and very quiet location ensuring the cats have to endure the least amount of stress whilst waiting to be rehomed into a loving home. Furthermore it allows a selection of cats to have some space to roam and follow their natural instincts. We house the cats as they come in, and if there are 2 or 3 we keep them together, and if they are inseparable, we do try to home them together, although this is not always possible. Our shelters are cleaned daily and provide each cat with a warm bed, toys and of course food, water and a litter tray. We provide veterinary treatment to the shelters cats if needed and are commited to only rehoming cats which are ready to leave the shelter. The rescue also provides a separate area for kittens with additional heat and protection.
