View full sized Latest New Unit

The pictures above show the units used to house the cats and kittens when they come in to us, we are very proud of them as it has taken a long time to be able to do it. The cats like the extra space that has been created, and each time we upgraded, new ideas were used. UPVC is the best material, as it can be cleaned easily, and does not retain any germs, as in the case of wood. Each unit has electricity to keep them snug in the winter.

View full sized Bill came to us about 3 years ago, and i have to admit that i have never seen a man clean to such a shine! He works like a trojan. View full sized sandyhas been with us for over 10 years now, and she loves the cats so much she sings to them, not sure they appreciate the singing, but they love the fuss!

We have a charity shop in Walton on the Naze, which is very well supported by the local community, amd the monies obviously goes towards the upkeep, and the upgrading of the cattery. The shop is always needing stock, and we can take anything except electrical goods, as these have to be tested by a electrician before they can be sold.

Bric-a-brac, books, videos, clothes, handbags, shoes, these are all needed, and we can even get money for recycling old clothes, shoes and handbags, so if you want to throw some well used clothes out, we will catch them!

There are several volunteers here too, without them the shop could'nt run, certainly not as efficiently, and the ladies seem popular with the locals, who say they like to come in for a chat and a laugh, so they see things to buy!

We also have people who knit lovely baby clothes and blankets, and also beds for the cats, to keep them cosy, and we thank them too.

Clacton Electronics have supported us in many ways, not least the help with this website, also by donations and keeping a collection box in their shop in Clacton.

Holland Pet Stores, and Aquarius also have collection boxes, for which we are grateful.
