Welcome to our website, we hope you will find it interesting and that it will give you all the information you need to choose the right cat for you, we do try to make sure that the little cat or kitten that is chosen is the one most suited in every way, and also we make sure that they are all neutered if possible, wormed, de-flead and are healthy and happy.

We are a local independent charity, based in the Tendring area of Essex, with no connections to other charities, national or otherwise, and we depend on our fundraisers to enable us to carry on with the work, at high standard as possible.

The Charity has been working since 1989, but has been registered as Crescent Cat Rescue for about 8 years, and we have upgraded most of our units now, so it is much easier to clean and looks quite smart, as well as enabling us to house lots of cats and kittens.If cats come in together, we try to keep them in one unit, and likewise, when they come in on their own, we give them their own space. Cats and kittens are not put to sleep unless on the advice of the vet, and try to make sure that they all have the best of attention, from the "carers" and if neccessary attention from the vets.

We don't have visiting times, as appointments are needed to make sure the right people are at the cattery to help.
